About my photography
I started photographing as a hobby after finishing family medicine training. Initially I started as a landscape photographer, hoping with the right lens and camera I could become the next Ansel Adams. Living in Rochester, NY, though, my options for sweeping landscapes were limited, and I learned to appreciate the beauty that was around me every day. I strive to find beauty and grace in the small moments and overlooked spaces. Much as I am fortunate to see the beauty, strengths, and individuality of my patients over time, I find that my camera allows me to showcase the beauty and individuality of the spaces around me.
